Recently refurbished to a high standard, this warm and welcoming holiday home has a large living/dining room with inglenook fireplace and 17th century bread oven brought up to date with a gas wood burner. There is a fully fitted and equipped galley style kitchen with seating area overlooking the gardens, gas hob, combination oven/micro/grill, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, washer/dryer and walk in Pantry. The ground floor bathroom has a shower over bath. Upstairs, the Master bedroom entices with a Superking 6' Brass Bedstead, plenty of wardrobe space, original beams. The second bedroom is sectioned off from the hallway by a curtain - truly gorgeously pretty with 4' French brass bedstead and views over garden. The garden is typically cottage style looking beautiful in all seasons, a patio area leads to the lawn with well stocked borders and an ancient apple tree, with open views across the Hampshire countryside. There is so much to see and do in this area. Farnham is only a 5 minute drive away with the mainline station to London Waterloo 50 minutes. Walking, cycling and beautiful countryside is on the doorstep. The historic market town of Farnham thrives with individual shops, coffee shops and a wealth of pubs and restaurants for all tastes, as well as the Maltings a cultural organisation with theatre, dance productions, pottery, art, textiles, photography, a Castle and museum. There is a wealth of beautiful villages to visit including Chawton where you will also find Jane Austen's House, Selbourne with Gilbert White museum. Alresford is a short drive with the Watercress Line steam railway, where visitors can enjoy a delightful trip on an old steam train. Alice Holt forest together with the South Downs National Park and the North Downs way offer fabulous walks and cycle rides. Portsmouth, Chichester, Guildford, Goodwood and Fontwell races, Ascot, Windsor, the beaches at the Witterings and Hayling are all under an hour away.
