The garden is typically cottage style looking beautiful in all seasons, a patio area leads to the lawn with well stocked borders and an ancient apple tree, with open views across the Hampshire countryside. There is so much to see and do in this area. Farnham is only a 5 minute drive away with the mainline station to London Waterloo 50 minutes. Walking, cycling and beautiful countryside is on the doorstep. The historic market town of Farnham thrives with individual shops, coffee shops and a wealth of pubs and restaurants for all tastes, as well as the Maltings a cultural organisation with theatre, dance productions, pottery, art, textiles, photography, a Castle and museum. There is a wealth of beautiful villages to visit including Chawton where you will also find Jane Austen's House, Selbourne with Gilbert White museum. Alresford is a short drive with the Watercress Line steam railway, where visitors can enjoy a delightful trip on an old steam train. Alice Holt forest together with the South Downs National Park and the North Downs way offer fabulous walks and cycle rides. Portsmouth, Chichester, Guildford, Goodwood and Fontwell races, Ascot, Windsor, the beaches at the Witterings and Hayling are all under an hour away.
